Guiding them to see what they’re truly capable of, and opening the door to career paths they never even imagined.

These are 3D Models I've modeled, sculpted, and textured, or were models I had to texture for myself, or contract work. Though I focus mostly on hard-surface, I also enjoy sculpting characters, and I live for texturing and creating shaders to show history and details.

Server 0042 - Modeled with topology in mind, most details will be added through textures and normal maps in Substance painter after UV Mapped using UDIMs in Maya.

Server 0042 - Textured in Substance Painter. Weathering and smaller details added through normal maps. Textures are scalable, and emissives can be animated.

Server 0042 - Details such as seams, vents, even doors are added through the textures to keep polys down.

Sinister (Street Punk - Clean) - A character from concept art that was sculpted in Zbrush and textured in Mudbox

Alien - My version of a Salarian from Mass Effect, sculpted in Mudbox, textured in Substance Painter. Showing multiple types of skin, SSS, sculpting details, and rendered in Unreal Engine

Sarah - Texturing and Rendering example where I go over UV Mapping, how to texture skin, eyes, and hair cards, Sub Surface Scattering, 3 point lighting, Software and GPU rendering, and setting up Material Shaders. I use this example in my courses when teaching character texturing. Textured in Substance Painter.

Environment Examples
To me, the unsung heroes are set dressers for movies and shows. They tell a story about not just what an environment is but how it is used, what the people are like who inhabit it, what crime happened? What are characteristics and traits of the occupant. This can elevate an environment from an Ikea display to a lived in area with history and intent.

This is 2D traditional and digital art I've done over the years. I tend to prefer surrealism, no matter the medium, whether it's sketches, brush painting and airbrush.
