I'm an Instructional Designer with 20 years of experience as a professor at 4 colleges and as a director of 2 college programs, one of which I wrote the curriculum for and taught half the courses. I'm also an artist, designer, martial artist, and mentor. Teaching is my passion and I believe you can make any subject matter fun and entertaining to learn. I've used instructional design throughout my career and I'm always looking for a challenge.

Responsibilities:

Classes and subjects taught: Texture & lighting, Graphic Design, Game Level Production (level editing using Maya and the Unreal engine), Environment Design, Hard modeling, Normal mapping, orientate new students, manage instructors. Hire instructors. Faculty training. Manage GAD-related events and tournaments. Working within the budget of the program to make sure we’re on track. Making sure that we stay within the guidelines of our accreditation by working closely with the compliance department on regulations. Travel to conventions and further personal skills to teach to students and staff. Find and manage industry professionals for Program Advisory committee, Forecast trends based on input from industry contacts and experience. I also brought industry professionals to the school and my classes to do critiques and directed student work to create content that is ready for consideration entry-level positions.

I was the art lead on a 3D exploration educational game proposal. I was incharge of the texturing and style direction as well as the texturing, lighting, rendering and compositing several of the shots. I managed mostly the texturing team and often helped with remodeling and optimizing assets.
